Earlier today, the Walsall Football Supporters' Trust's Legends side took on Walsall Ladies in a fundraising match, with all monies raised set to be donated to Walsall LFC.
The Legends ran out winners by fourteen-goals-to-two with Sean Geddes (4), Raaj Gill (2), Brian Palgrave (2), Kris Taylor (2), Ryan Wood (2), Mark Taylor and George Bowerman grabbing the goals.
Lyndsey Glover and soon-to-be retiring team Walsall Ladies manager Lewis Jones replied for the Ladies.
The match raised £200 for the Ladies and was a huge success for the Trust, who are already planning their next fundraising match, which is sure to take place very soon.
