Earlier today Walsall Football Club revealed that young striker Jordan Murphy had become the latest player to put pen-to-paper on a new one-year contract with the club.
The 19 year-old was plucked from Stourbridge in September 2014 and went on to impress for the reserves and also during a fruitful loan spell with Worcester City, where he played a key role in their FA Cup exploits.
His progress was rewarded with a brief taste of first-team action as he made a couple of substitute appearances in the second half of the 2014/15 campaign.
