Former Walsall player and coach Dean Holden, who is currently caretaker manager at the Saddlers' next opponents Oldham Athletic, has spoken to the press about his desire to win at Banks's Stadium.

Speaking to the Manchester Evening News, Dean said; “It will be great to go back there as I learned a lot from the manager Dean Smith and his assistant Richard O’Kelly.

“I’m glad that they have got the team out of trouble as they were in a bit of danger a few weeks ago.

“They’ve been in that situation before and just stayed calm and made sure they were consistent and that has meant they have turned their fortunes around.

“Obviously we’re going there to win the game though and that’s all I’m focusing on at this stage.”
