Walsall manager Dean Smith has spoken to the local press following Bank Holiday Monday's Sky Bet League 1 draw with Peterborough United, and has denied that his side;s lack of goals is now playing on the minds of his players.
Speaking to the Express & Star, Smith said; “I think some of the lads look maybe a little bit nervous in front of goal at the moment because they can feel the pressure that’s building.
“I don’t think it’s playing on their minds, I just think they know that there is a pressure there.
“As I say, the performance levels are right up there. It’s just that we are not scoring goals. We know that without Tom Bradshaw we have not scored enough goals this season.”
