Walsall manager has spoken to the club's official website about today's Rico Henry contract news, and has discussed his delight at the first of hopefully many contract boosts.
Speaking to Saddlers.co.uk, Smith said; “It’s pleasing for all concerned that Rico has signed this new deal. He has a lot of potential and we know what a valuable asset he can be for us.
“We are delighted with the progress that he has making and whilst there is still a lot of development to go with him, it’s frightening how good he already is.”
