On Tuesday evening Walsall Football Club will play host to Crawley Town in the latest Sky Bet League 1 fixture of the season.

The Saddlers will be looking to put an end to a poor run which has seen them yet to pick up more than a draw against their opponents.

With Crawley Town's recent rise from non-league to the Football League, the two side's have met on just five previous occasions, the first meeting took place just over two-and-a-half years ago on 17th November 2012, the match ended in a 2-2 draw, this was the first of three draws in a row, the second ended 2-2, and the third, 0-0.

The first win of the two sides' meetings took place at Banks's Stadium, on 22nd February 2014, and ended 2-1 to the Red Devils, a Matt Tubbs double proved enough to secure the win, despite Sam Mantom's 64th minute strike.

Their most recent meeting took place at Crawley's CheckaTrade.com Stadium on 21st October 2014, and ended 1-0 to the hosts. A last-minute Conor Henderson strike was enough to secure the three points.
