According to media reports Walsall Football Club attacking-midfielder Romaine Sawyers is the transfer target of several Premier League and Championship sides as he continues to impress for the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Finalists.

The St Kitts and Nevis international is said to be attracting interest from Stoke City, Leicester City and Burnley, along with Sky Bet Championship sides Middlesbrough, Nottingham Forest, Huddersfield Town and Birmingham City.

The 23-year-old is a product of the West Bromwich Albion youth system and joined the Saddlers on a permanent basis in the summer of 2013, following a brief loan spell toward the end of the 2012/13 league campaign.

Romaine finished the 2013/14 season with seven goals in 49 appearances, and went on to sign a new two-year deal with the club, which should keep him contracted to the summer of 2016.
