Walsall Football Club attacking-midfielder Romaine Sawyers is set to fly out to the Caribbean, less than 24 hours after the Saddlers' Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final defeat to Bristol City.

The 23-year-old is set make his tenth international appearance for St Kitts and Nevis as he is likely to be named amongst the teams' starting XI when they take on the Turks and Caicos Islands in the second-leg of their World Cup qualifier.

Birmingham-born Sawyers will miss Monday evening's first leg to play in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final, but will be available for the return leg on Saturday evening, meaning he will be missing for Walsall's League 1 trip to Chesterfield, which is also on Saturday.
