Walsall Football Club midfielder Sam Mantom, who has recently returned from a long injury lay-off, has spoken to the press ahead of this weekend's Sky Bet League 1 clash with Chesterfield, and has discussed his belief that the Saddlers will be 'fine' this season and avoid the treat of relegation.
Speaking to the Express & Star, Sam said; “You don’t want to be looking over your shoulder and I don’t think we will be. I think we will be fine. It has been very tight all season to be fair.
“If you win two you are probably looking at four points off the play-offs again and well clear of relegation. Now Wembley is out of the way, we can focus fully on the league.”
