On Sunday, 22nd March Walsall Football Club and it's supporters will travel to Wembley Stadium as the Saddlers take on Bristol City in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final. Below is a brief rundown of some useful information for supporters planning to attend the game.

Following a conference call between representatives of both clubs, supporter associations, the police and numerous official governing bodies, the following information has been supplied by West Midlands Police in relation to Walsall FC's trip to Wembley this weekend.

Flags - Flags are allowed inside the stadium providing they do not hinder the view of other supporters.

Pyro's - Pyro's ARE NOT permitted either inside or outside the stadium. A robust stance will be taken against any individual or group attempting to bring pyro's into the ground. Supporters found in possession WILL be arrested and banning orders WILL be applied for.

Drinking - Walsall Supporters will be allocated a number of pubs to the West of the stadium whilst Bristol City Supporters will be allocated pubs to the East. Pubs will stop serving 1 hour before kick off (2:30pm) to allow supporters to make their way to the ground. Many pubs WILL NOT open after the game, and this includes pubs in Baker Street (Central London). The following pubs have been allocated for the use of Walsall FC Supporters.

Controlled Drinking Zone (CDZ) - There is a CDZ in place for the Borough of Brent and Westminster. Supporters are asked to respect these area's as local residents have had to put up with people urinating in gardens and throwing large amounts of litter onto their properties. Police WILL enforce the CDZ if they feel it is proportionate at the time.

Young / Vulnerable Peoples Wrist Bands - These can be obtained FREE OF CHARGE from the Meet & Greet Staff at the stadium. They will include the phone number of an appropriate adult who can be contacted should a child or vulnerable person become detached from their party.

Anti-Social Text Line - To report any supporter misbehaviour inside the ground, please text 87474. This number can also be found on the reverse of your match day ticket.

Body Cams - Some Wembley Stewards will be wearing Body Cams with video and audio recording.

BTP - There are good services running into both London Euston and London Paddington Stations and a good tube service into both Wembley Central and Wembley Park Stations.

Coaches - Due to the large number of coaches expected for this fixture, supporters must expect delays in leaving the car parks after the match. Everything possible will be done to assist, but a slow exit is anticipated.

Turnstiles - Turnstiles will be open at 1:00pm

The Metropolitan Police and Wembley Stadium will do everything in their power to ensure that supporters have a safe and trouble free day. We want this fixture to be a celebration of football for everyone to have a great day.
