INJURY UPDATE: SADDLERS SWEAT ON DUO'S FITNESS

Walsall Football Club top-scorer Tom Bradshaw, who has bagged sixteen goals so far this campaign, is understood to be suffering from a tight hamstring following Saturday afternoon's Sky Bet League 1 draw with Milton Keynes Dons.
Walsall Football Club top-scorer Tom Bradshaw, who has bagged sixteen goals so far this campaign, is understood to be suffering from a tight hamstring following Saturday afternoon's Sky Bet League 1 draw with Milton Keynes Dons.

Manager Dean Smith is hopeful that Bradshaw will be fit in time for Tuesday evening's League tie with Sheffield United, but with an eye on Sunday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final date with Bristol City, will not risk the striker with Manchester City's Jordy Hiwula, Amadou Bakayoko, Ashley Grimes and Jordan Murphy all able to deputise for the Shrewsbury-born forward should his playing be deemed too much of a risk.

Left-back Andy Taylor is also a doubt for Tuesday's game after he collected a knock during Saturday's draw with MK Dons. Mal Benning has been re-called from his loan with York City and is ready to step in.

Michael Cain, who missed the weekend's game via an illness is expected to be fit and could return to the fold.
