Walsall Football Club manager Dean Smith has spoken to the press following Tuesday evening's Sky Bet League 1 draw with Sheffield United, and has offered an update on the injuries to top-scorer Tom Bradshaw and left-back Andy Taylor.
Both Tom Bradshaw (Hamstring) and Andy Taylor (Calf), who sat out the 1-1 draw with the Blades, have undergone scans on their injuries and the club are awaiting the results.
Speaking to the Express & Star, Smith said; "We are hopeful on both. It would be a bigger blow for them (to miss Wembley) than it would be for us. Mal came in and did a steady job, we know we have cover.
“Jordy (Hiwula) has done well up front as well, with four goals in eight games.”
Everyone associated with the Saddlers will be hoping for good news with the club's first ever trip to Wembley Stadium now just days away.
