The Walsall Football Supporters' Trust have provided an update regarding the planned song to commemorate the Saddlers reaching Wembley Stadium for the first time in the club's 127 year history.

Walsall band The Assist were in the studio well into the early hours of this morning (Wednesday), recording their special Wembley Song under the banner of the Trust to help raise funds for the Walsall FC Youth Development (via the Trust) and The Brain Tumour Charity (via Trust member Adam Paget).

The song.which will be first aired on BBC Radio WM's 'Early Kick-Off' show on Saturday, 28th February, will be available in all formats from iTunes and Spotify at a cost of 99p with all profits going directly to the nominated charities.

The song will also be released on CD single at a cost of just £2 which will be signed by the band and limited to 127 copies only, one to mark each year of the clubs history. More details will be made available as and when we receive them.

The Trust would like to offer special thanks to members Adam Paget for making all of this possible, and also to Eddie Thomas at Dovecote Studio for donating all the studio time for free meaning more funds can be raised.
