Walsall Football Club left-back
Andy Taylor has spoken to the club's official website ahead of this weekend's Sky Bet League 1 clash with Port Vale, and has insisted that the side to maintain their current level of performance, there is no reason why they can't be battling for one of the play off places.
Speaking to
Saddlers.co.uk, Andy said; “This is such a tight League that a few wins can shoot you right up the table. We've won the last two and need to find that level of consistency now.
“There are a lot of games still to be played and a lot of points up for grabs. If we can get on a run, there is no reason why we can’t be up there challenging.
“At this stage of the season, momentum is massive. We want to get into that winning habit and performances are going to be key to getting the results.
“We are determined to carry on from where we have left off in recent games. We did well at Doncaster last weekend and then put in an impressive first half showing in our last game.
“It’s been a case of working hard in preparation for the game so that we can continue to add to our points tally.”
