Walsall manager Dean Smith has spoken to the press following Sunday evening's Sky Bet League 1 draw with Gillingham, and has revealed that he hopes to bring in an attacking player ahead of Monday evening's transfer deadline.

Speaking to various members of the press, Smith confirmed that he hopes to sign an attacking player on loan, and that discussions had begun ahead of today's match.

With top scorer Tom Bradshaw seemingly injured, Smith will hope he can get a deal over the line ahead of the 11:00pm deadline.
