Walsall manager Dean Smith has spoken to the press about the future of loan-star Michael Cain, and has hinted at the possibility of an extended stay, beyond any potential loan extension, for the midfield man.
Luton born Cain's Leicester City contract expires at the end of the season, and Smith indicated that it is his future at the King Power Stadium that is delaying his Banks's Stadium stay.
Speaking to the
Express & Star, Smith said; “We are in advanced negotiations with Leicester and the biggest thing at the moment for Michael is sorting his future out with Leicester. I think once that is sorted he will be our player again.”
