Walsall manager Dean Smith has spoken to the club's official website ahead of this weekend's Sky Bet League 1 clash with Colchester United, and has revealed that there are ongoing discussions to extend the loan of Leicester City midfielder Michael Cain until the end of the season.
Speaking to Saddlers.co.uk, Smith said; "There are ongoing conversations to extend Michael Cain's loan here for the rest of the season. He's a young lad who has come in and done really well and benefitted from being here, so hopefully we can keep him here."
