Walsall Football Club's versatile defender James Chambers has spoken to the club's official website following last weekend's Sky Bet League 1 victory over Colchester United, and has praised the character of the Saddlers' side.
Speaking to Saddlers.co.uk, James said; “It was a pleasing result. We rode our luck at times but there is plenty of character in this group and we used the ball better than our hosts.
“It’s always pleasing to keep a clean sheet; it was a tough day at the office but it was nice to come away with the win.
“The lads applied themselves well. There is a confidence in the way that we play and it was another pleasing away performance and result.
“When we go away from home, teams have to come at us and that suits the way we play."
