It is understood that Preston North End have sold around 800 tickets for Tuesday evening's Johnstone's Paint Trophy, Northern Area Final, Second Leg clash between the Lilywhites and Walsall, which takes place at Banks's Stadium.

A little over a week ago the club confirmed, via their official website pnefc.net, that their initial ticket allocation of 1,516 was reduced to 1,384 on safety grounds, with West Midlands Police said to have required a larger buffer zone between sets of supporters as the Saddlers neared a 9,500 home fans' sell-out.

On Friday evening the club went on to reveal, via their official Twitter account @pnefc, that their allocation had been cut further, to 1,122, once again due to Policing concerns.
