According to reports in The Football League Paper, Walsall's Sky Bet League 1 rivals Sheffield United are preparing a bid for Saddlers top scorer, Tom Bradshaw.
Last week several transfer rumour Twitter accounts were also linking Bradshaw with a switch to local rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers.
22-year-old, Shrewsbury-born Bradshaw joined Walsall from Shrewsbury Town last summer, and has made a massive impact on the side, notching fourteen goal in all competitions, and is seen as the main reason why the Saddlers remain within touching distance of the play-off places.
The Blades, who sit sixth in the league, are said to be keen to bolster their attacking options as they look to move closer to gaining promotion to the Championship.
