Malvind Benning has spoken to the press about his recent loan move to Sky Bet League 2 side York City, and has revealed that he requested a spell on loan in order to get some first-team football.
Speaking to
YorkPress.co.uk, Mal said; "I had a meeting with my agent, who spoke to the manager at Walsall and my name was circulated for a loan move. York were one of the first clubs to contact Walsall and I'm delighted to come here.
"I asked to go out on loan because I was becoming a little bit frustrated at not playing and the manager understood where I was coming from, so he allowed me to come out."
