Vice-Chairman of Rushall Olympic Nick Allen is appealing for the borough's football fans to travel to Dales Lane and cheer them on as they face Vanarama North side Guiseley in an FA Trophy replay, on Tuesday evening.

On Saturday afternoon the Pics held their opponents to a draw to book this week's crunch return fixture, with either Chorley or Stalybridge Celtic awaiting them in the First Round proper.

Speaking to the Walsall Advertiser, Allen said; "It would be great to see a few Saddlers’ fans at the game, lending their support to the Pics.

"We have a great relationship with Walsall Football Club and our current squad has plenty of links with their club.

"Former senior players such as Gavin Caines and Kris Taylor, young players such as Aaron Williams, Callum Williams, Aris Christopherou and Connor Deards and also Jake Heath, currently on loan from the Saddlers, have all done fantastically well for us.

"Their abilities as players and people show the positive role that Walsall Football Club has played in their development and hopefully Rushall Olympic Football Club can continue the good work as we try and compete and progress in the future.

‘The replay at Dales Lane will place us as big underdogs again, but we deserve a second chance and hope that local supporters, neutrals and non-league fans in general can come and be that vital 12th man in helping to support the lads and show our passions for the game in our area."
