Walsall manager Dean Smith has spoken to the press ahead of Boxing Day's Sky Bet League 1 clash with Swindon Town, and has offered a brief update on the injury status of Saddlers' left-back Andy Taylor.
Speaking to the Express & Star, Smith said; “Everyone is training with the exception of Andy who is still with Jon Whitney. Jon just wants to make sure everything is alright before sending him back into full training.”
“We were hopeful he would be back for the Sheffield United game but he just felt the knee again in training and we don’t want him to break down again.”
