Walsall manager Dean Smith has spoken to the club's official website ahead of this weekend's Sky Bet League One trip to face Oldham Athletic, and has praised the team for it's recent good form.Speaking to saddlers.co.uk, Dean said; "Since our disappointing League defeat at Rochdale, performances have been very good and we've achieved some pleasing results.
"We've only conceded once in our last four games, so that shows how well we have done as a team. I felt that we were very well-organised and defensively strong in our last game on Tuesday and hopefully this can continue at Oldham.
"We prepare to face an Oldham outfit who are a good footballing side. They are on a nine-game unbeaten run and Lee Johnson has developed a good bunch of players there who try to play the game the right way and win football matches.
"We know that we will have to be at our best, but we are ready for it. All the lads are recovered from Tuesday and ready for this latest challenge."
