This weekend Walsall Football Club play host to Chesterfield in the latest Sky Bet League One fixture of the season. Below is the latest pre-match news, including ticket information.

The Saddlers arrive at the game on the back of a disappointing last-minute defeat to Crawley Town, which took place on Tuesday evening. The result was the Walsall's third league defeat in a row, and leaves the Saddlers 23rd in the table, tied with Scunthorpe United for bottom place.

 WALSALL TEAM NEWS
Walsall will welcome back top scorer Tom Bradshaw, who has missed the last three games through injury. The Shrewsbury-born striker was rated 50/50 for both, last weekend's 1-0 home defeat to Crewe Alexandra, and Tuesday evening's defeat away to Crawley Town

Sam Mantom continued his return from injury by playing for an hour during the reserves win over Port Vale on Wednesday afternoon.

 OUR OPPONENTS
Chesterfield, who are currently 10th in the league, arrive at this weekend's match on the back of a mid-week defeat to Colchester United (2-1), which gives the Spireites a record of three wins in ten league games.

Paul Cook's side have suffered a recent slump in results, having won three of the opening five league fixtures.

Oscar Gobern may come straight into the team following his mid-week loan arrival from Huddersfield Town.

 HEAD TO HEAD
In terms of head-to-head, of the eighty-six matches played, Walsall hold a slight advantage, with thirty-one wins to their opponents twenty-eight. There have also been twenty-seven draws during the fixtures history.

Their first meeting took place on 11th November 1899, the match ending 6-3 to Walsall against the then named Chesterfield Town, at Fellows Park, in Division Two.

In more recent times, Walsall won their last meeting 3-2 on 7th April 2012, Emmy Ledesma (2) and Sam Mantom with the Saddlers goals, Franck Moussa, and Mark Randall for the Spireites.

Walsall have won just one of the previous five encounters (D:2, L:2), which stretches out to four wins in ten.

 THE OFFICIALS
Saturday afternoon's match between Walsall and Chesterfield will be refereed by Mr. Kevin Wright, who is based in Cambridgeshire.

44-year-old Wright, has officiated over ten games this season, where he has issued thirty-three yellow and one red cards.

The last time Mr. Wright officiated over a Walsall match was last season's 2-1 home defeat to Crawley Town, the match, which took place on 22nd February, saw Crawley's Billy Clarke dismissed for a second-bookable offence.

Milan Lalkovic picked up a booking for Walsall, whilst Kyle McFadzean and Mark Connolly also saw yellow for the Red Devils.

Kevin Morris and Neil Radford are set to be referee's assistants, whilst Gavin Muge is due to be Fourth Official.
