Yesterday evening Walsall Football Club revealed the loan signing of Leicester City midfielder Michael Cain on a one-month loan deal.
Today, Michael, who had already spent a brief period training with the squad, spoke to the press ahead of this evening's trip to Crawley Town, and discussed what he thinks he can bring to the side, as they look to bounce back from last weekend's disappointing defeat at home to Crewe Alexandra.
Speaking to the Express & Star, Michael said; “I feel I bring an attacking dynamic to the team. I'm a midfielder who likes to get forward a lot, create a lot of opportunities and get a few goals. I will try and get my personality across into the team.”
“I've already trained here over the past few weeks and its one of the best atmospheres that I have ever experienced in football. The players and staff are a close-knit group and they have made me feel extremely welcome.
“Hopefully, I will get a few games under my belt here. The lads and the manager and everyone around it are first-class, the facilities are superb. Hopefully we can take that forward.
“I want to get a few games under my belt. I have set myself a goal of getting a start in the team, get myself a few goals and hopefully push Walsall up the table."
