BRADSHAW HOPES TO HEAR INTERNATIONAL CALL

Walsall Football Club top-scorer Tom Bradshaw has spoken to the press ahead of this weekend's Sky Bet League One trip to Notts County, and has discussed his hopes of being called up to the full Wales squad.

Speaking to the Express & Star, Tom, who was added to Chris Coleman's stand-by list during the last round of international fixtures, said; “I was only on standby but obviously you want to be available for all types of games. I'm just happy to be back playing for Walsall and helping the lads get the three points and get ourselves up the table.

“I think there probably was a good chance (of being promoted from standby to full squad) but who knows?

“I was injured before the lads started dropping out with injuries so whether the boss would have picked me or not, I'm not sure. But all I can is keep scoring goals and keep making myself availables.

“First and foremost I just want to be scoring goals for Walsall and if that (a call-up) comes from playing well at Walsall, then that’s brilliant.”
