IN BRIEF: INJURIES CONTINUE TO MOUNT

Following this afternoon's 3-1 Sky Bet League One victory over Preston North End, Walsall may have been dealt two further blow's in their fight against injury.
Following this afternoon's 3-1 Sky Bet League One victory over Preston North End, Walsall may have been dealt two further blow's in their fight against injury.

Central midfielder, and club captain, Adam Chambers was substituted at half time with an apparent ankle injury.

Adam appeared to be limping when he joined the bench to watch the rest of the game with his team-mates.

Whilst top scorer Tom Bradshaw was also taken off, this time after 59 minutes, for what looked to be precautionary reasons, with the former Shrewsbury man feeling his thigh.

To add to the issues both young striker Amadou Bakayoko, and first-year pro Rico Henry picked up knocks during a mid-week reserves game.

All could join, Jordan Cook, James Chambers, Sam Mantom, Matt Preston, and Ben Purkiss in the somewhat over-populated treatment room, which may prompt Dean Smith to delve into the loan market once again, as the fixtures come thick and fast.
