Walsall manager Dean Smith has spoken to the club's official website to reflect on Saturday evening's Sky Bet League One draw with Leyton Orient.Speaking to saddlers.co.uk, Smith said: “It was a good performance at what is a tough place to come. I was pleased with the overall display; the performance was an improvement on our last one.
“We had to withstand a bit of pressure in the opening 25 minutes or so, but we got into it after that and used the space well out there.
“It was good to see so many youngsters involved and playing their part. We did well with and without the ball and there were plenty of positives to come out of the game for us against a side who have invested heavily over the summer to add to what was already a strong squad.”
