LATEST: MANSET UNDERGOING TURKISH TRIAL?

Earlier today it was revealed that Walsall Football Club manager Dean Smith had issued French striker Mathieu Manset with a 48-hour deadline to decide his future with the club.

Earlier today it was revealed that Walsall Football Club manager Dean Smith had issued French striker Mathieu Manset with a 48-hour deadline to decide his future with the club.

However, according to reports on various Turkish websites and Social Media pages it is understood former Hereford United, Reading and Antwerp striker Manset is already on trial with another club.

It is being reported that last night Mathieu took part in a pre-season friendly between Turkish side Kayseri Erciyesspor and Hungarian outfit FC Sopron, where Mathieu scored both goals in a 2-0 victory.

Whilst reports are sketchy, it seems Mathieu has opted to test the waters elsewhere.
