Walsall Football Club defender Ben Purkiss has today spoken about his belief in the club's transfer policy, and has backed manager Dean Smith to make 'major' signings as we head into 2014/15...Speaking to the Express & Star, Ben said: “What I would say about the staff here is that they do their due diligence. They look at players’ characters, they watch a lot of games and speak to people who know them. So I’d expect the signings to be major players if not in the new season then in the very near future."
