Yesterday evening Walsall Football Club winger Ashley Hemmings took to Twitter to confirm his impending departure from the Banks's Stadium club, the club have now also confirmed he is free to leave the Banks's Stadium.

Ashley Hemmings took to Twitter to confirm his impending departure from the Banks's Stadium club, the club have now also confirmed he is free to leave the Banks's Stadium.
Hemmings, who has spent the latter part of the season on loan at Sky Bet League Two play-off finalists Burton Albion, said: "Finally the end of the season and so gutted for the boys at Burton Albion who've worked so hard an deserved to get promoted. I wish them all the best for the future. An I hope the best for everyone at Walsall FC as well. My time there has came to an end, ups an downs but I've learnt a lot an enjoyed my 2 years there. Thank you all."
On Tuesday morning the club released a statement via
Saddlers.co.uk, it said: "Walsall FC can confirm that Ashley Hemmings will not be offered a new deal when his current contract expires and therefore he is free to leave the club.
"The wide-man has been out on loan at Burton Albion, whose season ended yesterday. Like all of the players leaving the club this summer, we thank him for his efforts and wish him well in the future."
Earlier this month Walsall had included Hemmings in the 'maybe' pile as he had still got time left on his Brewers loan deal, however he will now be moving on at the end of his current deal.
