Walsall Football Club's main kit sponsor and commercial partner CAT Communications' final sponsored charity match at Banks's Stadium is edging ever closer...

The match, which will take place 7:30pm on 22nd May 2014, will be between The Mad Dogs and the Cool CATS, all in aid of two special charities.

The Captain of the Mad Dogs team will be former Walsall defender Chris Marsh and this will be his retiring and final game at Bescot Stadium, following his decision to stop playing in any more games.

This will be CAT Communications last Charity match at Banks's Stadium, and as a thank you 24 lucky supporters will be given the chance to be part of the Cool CAT's squad.

Amongst the winners is Walsall supporter David Pearson, who has been selected to take part in the match, and has set up a JustGiving page to raise money.

All money raised will be split between two wonderful charities, The Last Chance Hotel Animal Rescue and Balls to Cancerthe charity that is supported by former Walsall midfielder Kris Taylor, who is currently receiving cancer treatment. Both charities play a major part in supporting families from in and around the West Midlands and the organisers are hoping to be able to make substantial donations.

Admission will be on the gate and will be charged at £2 for Adults and £1 for concessions.
