Walsall Football Club have today confirmed that they plan to appeal the red card midfielder Sam Mantom received during last weekend's Sky Bet League One defeat to Preston North End.If the decision is upheld, former West Brom apprentice, Mantom will miss Wednesday night's trip to Sixfields, against Coventry City, Saturday's local derby against Wolverhampton Wanderers and next week's home date with Crewe Alexandra.
