21-year-old Lalkovic is set to become a free agent at the end of the summer, and he has to the Express & Star that he is keeping his options open on a possible move away from Stamford Bridge.

Lalkovic also hinted at a possible permanent move to Walsall, but only if the Saddlers make it to the Championship next season, he said; "I think it will be time to leave Chelsea as I want to have regular football but we will see what happens. I guess I want to move somewhere and settle down, I’m not shutting the door on Chelsea but I think I will move on.

"Hopefully something will happen and maybe I will be a player with Walsall in the Championship. If we go up to the Championship I will definitely stay."

The Slovakia Under-21 international joined the Blues from MFK Košice in 2007 and signed professional terms in 2010.

He has also spent time on loan with Doncaster Rovers, ADO Den Haag and Vitória de Guimarães.
