Walsall will have a fully fit squad to select from and will be boosted by the extension of Chelsea winger Milan Lalkovic's loan deal until the end of the season.

Tranmere captain James Wallace will miss out as he begins a three-match ban, while on-loan Everton midfielder Matthew Kennedy could make his debut.


Whilst veteran Ian Goodison is still out with a thigh problem, Danny Holmes may also miss out with a groin strain.

In terms of head-to-head, Walsall hold a slight advantage with thirty-one wins to Rovers' twenty-five, there have been fourteen draws between the two.

The Saddlers will be looking to complete the double over their opponents having defeated them 3-1 in the opening game of the 2013/14 season.

Saturday's referee will be Andy Haines who is based in Tyne and Wear. Referee Haines has officiated over nineteen games in various competitions, where he has issue fifty-one yellow and six red cards, he has also awarded eleven penalties. Haines has taken charge of The Saddlers once this season, he presided over Walsall's 2-1 Capital One Cup victory over Port Vale back in August. Simeon Lucas and Iain Siddall will be running the lines, whilst Michael Salisbury will be Fourth Official.
