WALSALL TO BE PART OF CLUB LEGENDS CUP

Walsall will be represented in a six-a-side tournament that is due to take place on Saturday 12th July 2014 the day before next years FIFA World Cup Final.
Walsall will be represented in a six-a-side tournament that is due to take place on Saturday 12th July 2014 the day before next years FIFA World Cup Final.


The 'Club Legends Cup' which will be held in Birmingham's LG Arena, is a unique six-a-side indoor football tournament that will feature several Midlands football heroes, teaming up with lucky fans on each team giving them the chance to become a legend for the day.

Legends from Aston Villa, West Bromwich Albion, Birmingham City, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Coventry City, Walsall Football Club, as well as two mystery line-ups will combine with the fans to compete in the showpiece event.

To add to the entertainment there will also be The Little Legends Cup before the main event along with a host of fun activities around the arena to make it a fantastic day out for the whole family!

All monies raised from the day will help support Midlands charity, Cure Leukaemia.

Walsall will be represented by manager Ray Graydon and a team from the Walsall Football Supporters' Trust's recently established 'Former Players Association' following an invite from the event's organisers. Players such as, Pedro Matias, Ian Roper, Wayne Evans ,Mark Taylor, Tony Millard, Andy Reece, Brian Palgrave, Simon Osborn, and Jamie Lawrence, will all be called upon to fly the Saddlers' flag.
