The 22-year-old Northern Ireland striker penned a three-year deal with the Bees after turning down a new four-year deal with the Saddlers over the close season.
Will's Walsall career began in 2008 and spanned around 120 games, with the striker notching almost thirty first-team goals.
It is believed Walsall are seeking around £1m in compensation whilst Brentford are looking to pay in the region of £300,000. Both clubs had been in negotiations over the summer but a deal could not be reached so a tribunal was arranged.
