Preston North End have drawn all four of their SkyBET League One games, including a 2-2 draw with Milton Keynes Dons and a 4-4 stalemate with troubled side Coventry City. North End were also knocked out of the cup this week, following a 2-0 defeat to Burnley.

In terms of head-to-head, Walsall hold a slight advantage with twenty-four wins to twenty, the Saddlers have however won five of the last six fixtures between the two, and haven't suffered defeat since March 2003, where the reds went down 5-0 in front of 11,000 at Deepdale.

Walsall will have midfielder Adam Chambers back in the side following an injury that forced him to miss Wednesday's Capital One Cup defeat. Milan Lalkovic is also expected to feature after being rested midweek.

Preston utility man Jack King, who is currently sidelined with a broken foot, is North End's only absentee.

Striker Stuart Beavon and midfielder Joel Byrom impressed at Burnley in midweek and could make their first league starts of the campaign.
