This weekend see's The Saddlers travel to Boundary Park to take on Oldham Athletic.

Oldham hold the advantage on previous meetings, of the 24 games played, Latics have recorded 11 wins, and Walsall have come away with 9 victories. The last meeting, in August 2012, ended in a 1-1 draw.

Walsall are undefeated so far this season, with a 3-1 victory over Tranmere Rovers in the league and a 2-1 win versus Port Vale in the Capital One Cup.

Walsall defender Andy Taylor is set to miss out with an ankle injury, Mal Benning looks set to keep his place in the side. There are no fresh injuries, Sam Mantom should be fit despite a suffering a tight hamstring versus Port Vale.

Oldham were involved in a seven goal thriller on the opening day of the season, defeating Stevenage 4-3, the Latics were however defeated 1-0 by Derby County in the Capital One Cup.

Oldham's main injury concern is the fitness of Jonson Clarke-Harris, the striker limped off during the second half of Tuesday's Capital One Cup defeat.
