BUTLER AMONGST FOOTBALL LEAGUES 125 PLAYERS TO WATCH

As the Football league joins Walsall Football Club in celebrating it's 125th year, Sky Sports have marked the occasion by compiling the '125 Players to Watch'.

As the Football league joins Walsall Football Club in celebrating it's 125th year, Sky Sports have marked the occasion by compiling the '125 Players to Watch in the Football League'.

Amongst the list, is Saddlers captain, Andy Butler, the article proclaims; "Captains should lead from the front. They should be the ones dragging the best from those around them and the ones ready to offer words of encouragement and inspiration when the chips are down. Butler is very much of the skipper mould and wears the Walsall armband with pride. He is a two-time winner of the club's Player of the Year award and will be looking to reclaim that crown in 2013/14 after missing out to the now departed Will Grigg last term. A no-nonsense defender who is also capable of popping up with the odd goal, Butler's value to Walsall should not be underestimated."

Former Saddler Jabo Ibehre is also on the list of League One players to watch.
