Walsall captain Andy Butler has ruled himself out of Walsall's trip to Crewe Alexandra, thus ending his season.
Butler, who suffered a broken toe at the beginning of the month, told the
Express and Star, "I won't play again this season, there’s no point in risking it for this game. It could get dislocated again and turn into eight weeks of recovery. I will keep myself fit and look forward to next season.”
Dean Holden is expected to continue in defence this weekend.
