Walsall defender Richard Taundry has made his return from injury.

The 24-year-old was in the starting line up for today's reserve fixture versus Port Vale, following three months out.

The Walsall born defender hasn't appeared since December, in the 5-1 defeat to Coventry City, after suffering a hamstring injury that didn't respond well to treatment, but following several weeks of training he is ready to begin his push towards the first team.

Earlier today Walsall Reserves defeated Port Vale Reserves 2-0 at Port Vale's training ground.

The reserve team was as follows; Grof, George, Benning, (Ben) Purkiss, Holden; Featherstone, Baxendale, Taundry, Sterling, Hemmings; Bowerman

Subs: Roberts; Flanagan, Griffiths, Heath, Hawker
