Stoke City's Belgian Undert-21 midfielder Florent Cuvelier has completed a loan switch to npower Champoionship side, Peterborough United, for the remainder of the season.

20-year-old, Anderlecht born Cuvelier began his playing career for Belgian side R.E. Mouscron in 2008, before moving to England in 2009, to join Portsmouth's Youth Academy, having spent just a year on the south coast, Flo departed for Stoke City in July 2010.

During his time at City he has had two loan spells with Walsall Football Club, making a total of thirty-six appearances, and scored seven goals, and was believed to be keen on a return to The Saddlers, however Walsall could not guarantee first team football for the ambitious midfielder so he has agreed a deal to join The Posh for the remainder of the season.

Speaking to ThePosh.com Flo said 'It happened very quickly, but I am really pleased to be at a big club like Peterborough. I have been playing with Walsall and I felt the time was right to play in the Championship and I am really happy to be here.'
