Recently released former Chesterfield striker Craig Westcarr is currently training with Walsall Football Club with a view to agreeing a contract until the end of the season.

Westcarr was released by his parent club at the beginning of the month following a period on the transfer list and a spell on loan at the Banks's Stadium where he made eight appearances.
