On-loan Chesterfield striker Craig Westcarr has told local rag the Express and Star of his desire to remain at The Banks's Stadium beyond his current loan deal.
The 27-year-old Nottingham born marksman is currently on The Spireites transfer list after agreeing to depart the club as a cost cutting measure.
Currently playing as a right sided winger, Westcarr is confident he can become the Saddlers new force up-front and can propel the club up the table.
Any deal involving Westcarr would require Chesterfield to release the striker, as there is little room for maneuver in the Saddlers transfer budget.
