Walsall winger Kieron Morris, who has returned to the starting line-up following the injury to Flo Cuvelier, has spoken to club journalists and discussed his desire to make the most of his opportunity, as he seeks to earn a permanent starting spot.

Speaking via Saddlers.co.uk, Kieron, who was speaking following last weekend's League One victory over Peterborough United, said; "It was hard work for me today because I’m having to get my fitness back, but I thought I played well. When you get opportunities you’ve got to take them and today I did.

"It’s gutting for Flo, because he’s been playing really well recently - he’s been in form.  I feel for him, it’s happened to me. It’s unfortunate because injuries can happen at any time. I was on the bench for quite a lot of games because our form’s been really good recently.

"He took his chance when I got injured, so I couldn’t argue about that. When the player who’s taken your place is playing really well there’s nothing you can do. You’ve got to be patient.

"I’ve had to bide my time. I’ve been working hard in training and just had to take my chance."
