On Friday afternoon Walsall Football Club and Notts County played out a goalless draw, following the game Walsall manager Dean Smith spoke to the local media about the result.

Speaking to Matt Maher of the Express & Star, Smith said; "We played well in spells, their subs probably worked a bit better than ours but performance-wise, I can't complain.

"The only thing which was missing was a little bit of luck in front of goal - a little bit of luck probably as well."
