Walsall manager Dean Smith has today spoken to the press about the potential for 'Deadline Day' signings at Banks's Stadium.
Walsall manager Dean Smith has today spoken to the press about the potential for 'Deadline Day' signings at Banks's Stadium.

The Saddlers suffered two more injuries during the weekend defeat to Scunthorpe United, with James Chambers and Ashley Grimes joining the growing list of casualties.

Speaking to the Express & Star, Smith said; “I’m not sure, we’ll see. We have a few injuries, don’t we, and for Grimesy to get injured and James Chambers to have a recurrence of his problem, maybe we have to have a look at it.

“We are aware of players who are out there and are available, whether it be to come in on loan or permanently. It is something I will sit down with the chief executive and have a chat about.”
