Elijah Adebayo Named in the League Two Team of the Week

The Saddler has been recognised for his strong performance at the weekend.
Walsall striker Elijah Adebayo has been named in Sky Bet League Two's 'Team of the Week' following the Saddlers' one-all draw with Oldham Athletic on Saturday afternoon.

Elijah, who has scored eight goals in twenty-six first-team appearances so far this season, wasn't able to get on the scoresheet at the weekend but was more than a handful for the Latics backline the entire game.

The 23-year-old former Fulham man has made fifty-three club appearances since swapping Craven Cottage for Banks's Stadium in June 2019 and has become an integral part of Darrell Clarke's preferred line-up.

Saturday's draw with Oldham saw left-sided defender Zak Jules bag his second of the season before Latics substitute Davis Keillor-Dunn level things up with each side taking a share of the spoils.
